90-Second Newbery Film Festival: Deadline January 12

Does your child like reading books? Does she like making movies or would want to learn how? Does he want to become internet-famous?

Submissions are now open for the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival for 2018! Kid filmmakers create weird short movies that tell the entire stories of Newbery-winning books in about 90 seconds (adult help ok). Weird twists encouraged: “Charlotte’s Web” as a horror movie! “Holes” as a musical! Your movie can be featured on the 90-Second Newbery website and may be included in our annual special gala screenings in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Rochester NY, San Antonio, Detroit, and may other cities in 2018. Deadline is January 12, 2018—so get cracking! Beginners welcome! Learn complete details at http://www.90secondnewbery.com.

KidsOutAndAbout.com is the national media sponsor of the 2018 90-Second Newbery Festival... because it's great for kids and represents just about everything we believe in.
