We are nearing the time when we start to look at classes for next year. As we create these classes, we take into consideration many factors such as equal academic ability, behavioral concerns, boy/girl ratios, and past concerns with other students. This is a long difficult process and we do take it seriously. If you feel I need to be made aware of a particular situation as we create these classes, please fill out the student concerns form on the school website and get it in to Mr. Chase by March 14th. The following link will take you directly to that webpage: http://lomondview.wsd.net/index.php/parent-services/student-concerns

Congratulations to Paiton Clawson on her Reflections entry for Dance/Choreography- She is going to State!

Congratulations to Natalie Stoddard, Jordan Williams, Conner Rylands, Seth Larson, Trevor Bolingbroke, and Brayden Johnson! They all placed in the District Science Fair. They competed district wide with grades 6th through 8th. Way to go!

Library
A Big Thank You to all the students and parents and grandparents who supported our Book Fair. The total sales were $6200.00

Teachers were able to receive 4 new books for their classrooms and the library received $600.00 cash back from the total sales.

The library also has $1900.00 in scholastic dollars, to purchase more books from Scholastic for our library. I am going to focus the purchases for our Non-fiction area. We collected $145.00 in donations which went toward purchasing the books for our teachers.

It was a great Book Fair and I appreciate all the support for our library and teachers.

*Just a note to those who purchased the MineCraft Handbook!
Scholastic is getting the books to us as fast as they can. We may be looking at one to two weeks out. To reprint all the books needed in all the schools it has taken longer than projected. Please be patient and I will deliver them to the students as soon as they arrive. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
