Farr West 8th Ward –The Young Men had a Spaghetti Dinner Wednesday February 11th at the Baird's house, where Sister Baird coached everyone on proper dinner etiquette while they enjoyed dinner.

On Tuesday, February 17th, Brother Kent Allen, a Marriage and Family Therapist, spoke on strengthening the marriage relationship. All adults in the ward were invited, with refreshments served.   Babysitting was provided by the ward young men and young women. The kids had popcorn and watched a movie. They came in their pajamas and brought a pillow and blanket if they want to. Fun was had by all!

The Bishop has put out a challenge to each person in the Ward this year to complete the Gospel Scholar Study Plan. Wow, what a great challenge!

Farr West 2nd Ward—Kathy Jensen has been working with the 8 & 9 yr. girls on learning their scriptures and about the Bible.  The girls have been working to memorize and learn all that they can.

Michelle Ainge has been hard at work with the organizing of the Ward Temple Day February 21st. This was a sealing session.

Farr West 7th Ward--We would like to thank all the Ward deacons and Jake Schumers for setting up flags for Presidents’ Day. They got up and started at 7 am on one of their days off from school. It made the City look great.

New Life Northview Church sent their youth off on RYOT's winter retreat, over the long Presidents’ weekend. They were asked to bring a Bible, a few clothes, sleeping bag & pillow and leave all electronics home. They spent their time playing games, studying the Bible and doing the activities provided.  Most of all, they un-plugged for a while, learning to get back to basics.

Seth Koetitz sponsored a marriage retreat. “I Still Do” marriage retreat was for all to come and be un-plugged from technology and back to the basics of their marriages. It was very inspiring for all that came.
