At the beginning of the new year the Census Bureau will begin efforts in administering the 2020 Census. This year it will be easier then ever with four ways to report: mail, online, call in, or using your smartphone. Participating in the census helps report accurate numbers which impacts you directly as a citizen of Farr West, Weber County, and Utah. This endeavor is also opening part-time jobs for those interested. Please see the following links for more information about job openings and what the census is all about.

The Weber County Sheriff's Office is looking for qualified citizens to assist patrol deputies in serving our community through their Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS) program.
Every person engaged in business in Farr West must have a business license issued by the City. Licenses are obtained by submitting an application to the city offices and receiving approval from the City Council. All business licenses go before the City Council and someone representing the business must be present at the City Council meeting or the decision on that license will be tabled.
