'THE BEAUTIFUL DEATH TOUR' WITH SLAVES, OUT CAME THE WOLVES AND PICTURESQUE KICKS OFF TODAY
September 1st, 2017 - SAN DIEGO, CA - Today, SECRETS have released a brand new song and music video for their track, "Incredible". Fans can watch it now here: https://youtu.be/ThQc7ANRJu0
The band recently announced their signing to Made In The Shade Records earlier this year. "Incredible" is the just first taste of new music from SECRETS.
On the new song the band says, "This is a relationship song. It's about self-improvement, but finding it through someone else. Like being stuck in a hole (bad relationship) and thinking that's just the way it's supposed to be until you finally get out and find someone that you truly love and you realize that you've been just getting by mistaking comfort for love. It's also about how hard and long it takes to get out"
The song was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Kris Crummett (Sleeping With Sirens, Issues, Dance Gavin Dance, etc.)
"Incredible" is available to purchase and stream on all music platforms today.
SECRETS is about to kick off a nationwide tour with Slaves, Out Came The Wolves and Picturesque tonight in Dallas, TX at RBC. TOUR WITH STATE CHAMPS

SEPTEMBER 5th, 2017 - CHICAGO, IL - Sleep On It has announced the upcoming release of their highly anticipated debut full-length, Overexposed, on November 3rd, 2017 through Equal Vision Records. The album, which was produced by Seth Henderson (Knuckle Puck, Real Friends) with additional productions from Derek DiScanio of State Champs, is now available for pre-order at: https://sleeponit.lnk.to/overexposed
Fans can now watch the music video for the band's new single "Distant" here: https://goo.gl/6gzmYh. When pre-ordered digitally, fans will receive an instant download of "Distant".
On the upcoming album and new song, the band says, "We started writing Overexposed before our last EP was released. We wanted to write a cohesive record that ebbed and flowed; we wanted it to tell a story. There's a level of inherent fear and anxiety that accompanies the pursuit of whatever fills us with passion. We sacrifice the refuge of convention and make ourselves vulnerable in the process. We let go of and grew apart from, people in our lives for one reason or another. We also learned to hold on to the ones worth fighting for. "Distant" deals with that fear and anxiety of letting anyone close to us, while learning how to trust through our own self-aware vulnerability.
We completely poured ourselves into this record and we can't wait to share it with you. Thank you."
Overexposed track listing:
1. A New Way Home
2. Window
3. Distant
4. Hope
5. Always Crashing The Same Car

7. What We Stay Alive For

DENVER—Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke today announced members of a new “Royalty Policy Committee” which will advise the Interior Department on how to “modernize” public land management.
The Center for Western Priorities released the following statement from Executive Director Jennifer Rokala:
“Talk about stacking the deck. This committee is hand-picked to give oil, gas, and coal companies what they want while ripping off taxpayers. The committee members from ‘Academia and Public Interest Groups’ don’t represent a single public interest group. The political members of the committee represent Republican governors, while states with Democratic governors don’t get a seat at the table.
“When Secretary Zinke took office, he inherited a department that had already taken large steps toward modernizing America’s oil and gas royalty rates, ensuring taxpayers get their fair share for resources owned by the American people. Under his leadership, the Interior Department has rolled back all of those programs, and replaced it with an advisory group that has collectively dedicated hundreds of years to drilling and mining on public lands and waters without regard for our air and water, or the best interests of taxpayers.”

I love music, and I love playful learning, and that's why I'm such a huge fan of the music and movement education center, Imagination Place. At Imagination Place, they're passionately committed to providing both children and adults with affordable, fun, and playful music, movement, and creative experiences.
Imagination Place has two internationally recognized programs: Music Together® and AntiGravity® Fitness. To help build upon those programs, they have created two in-house programs, Musical Bridge and Imagination Workshop.
Music Together® is 45 minutes of pure fun with your child. It is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for children ages birth through kindergarten and the adults who love them. Classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical.
Just like the name suggests, Musical Bridge™ is the connection between non-formal music and private music lessons. In Musical Bridge, children learn musical theory through songs, games, and play. This is a great way to introduce your child to Music Theory.
Imagination Workshop has a little bit of everything at Imagination Place. Using playful thematic material, children learn four important life skills: focus, communication, centering emotions, and flexibility of mind and body utilizing the visual and performing arts.
AntiGravity® Fitness is fun for the whole family. It is a fusion technique using aspects of yoga, pilates, dance, and aerial arts. Imagination Place offers a wide variety of classes for all ages. They even offer a family class every Monday at 6 pm.
Join in on all the fun at Imagination Place this fall. For more information and to sign up for programs, feel free to visit the website at www.imaginationplace.com or call at 801-463-9067.
