Portland, OR - December 1, 2017 - Icarus The Owl are excited to share their highly anticipated new album, Rearm Circuits, out today via Blue Swan Records. Fans can stream the record, which has recently been featured on Alternative Press, Metal Insider, Substream Magazine, and more, in full via Spotify. Icarus the Owl is on tour now with Sianvar, and will be supporting Dance Gavin Dance later this month on additional dates. For more information or to purchase the new album, please visit: www.icarustheowl.com

On the new album, the band shares: "We treated this record like a blank slate. We almost stopped being a band after our previous release and it really reminded us of why we play music in the first place: passion."

Icarus The Owl formed in 2009 and wasted no time in completing their debut album, The Spotless Mind, which sold over 10,000 copies while they followed the 2009 Vans Warped Tour. Over 20 tours and 2 more self-released albums later, the band signed a deal with Will Swan of Dance Gavin Dance's label, Blue Swan Records, in 2015. They released their Blue Swan debut, Pilot Waves, in October of 2015, placing them on the Billboard Heatseeker's chart for the first time in their career.

Fast forward to present day, Icarus is gearing up for the release of their 5th studio album, Rearm Circuits.  Icarus The Owl was put to the test both personally and musically during the making of Rearm Circuits. From being on tour in Paris during the tragic terrorist attacks to taking an unplanned 7 month hiatus, Icarus has been put through the ringer and is ready to rearm their circuits, so to speak.  "So much has happened to us in the last two years. I am ecstatic that we made it out the other side with what I feel is easily our best record," says Rubenstein.

Rearm Circuits is out now via Blue Swan Records, and can be purchased at icarustheowl.com

State of Utah to Enter into Contract Negotiations

With U.S. Bureau of Reclamation

What

The Bureau of Reclamation and State of Utah are initiating negotiations for a water exchange contract, which proposes exchanging the state’s Green River water right for use of Colorado River Storage Project water released from Flaming Gorge Dam.

The exchange will provide Utah with a more reliable water supply, while assisting Reclamation in meeting its legal obligations. It would enable part of the state’s Colorado River apportionment to flow from Flaming Gorge Dam to Lake Powell for the benefit of Southern Utah Communities via the proposed Lake Powell Pipeline, solidifying more than 400 miles of in-stream benefit.

The negotiation meeting is open to the public. The public will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments pertaining to the exchange during an open house period immediately prior to formal negotiations and during a comment period following the negotiation session.

ROOTS PARTY TOUR KICKING OFF 1/10

TICKETS ON SALE THIS FRIDAY

DECEMBER 1, 2017 - SAN DIEGO, CA - Rock-reggae band, Tribal Seeds, have released a new EP, Roots Party, today. The EP serves as a follow-up to the band's 2014 full-length album, Representing, which charted on Billboard's Top 200 Albums. In support of the release, the band will be kicking off their Roots Party Tour, with The Original Wailers and The Expanders, on January 10th in New York, NY. The 20+ date tour will include stops in Pittsburgh, PA, Minneapolis, MN, Las Vegas, NV and more, before wrapping up on February 17th in Ventura, CA. See below for a full list of dates. Roots Party can be purchased here: https://goo.gl/zPYAE4. For more information on Tribal Seeds, please visit: http://tribalseeds.net/

Based in San Diego, Tribal Seeds come at their music from a different angle, more influenced by bands like Steel Pulse and Aswad than the common touchstone of Sublime. Formed in 2005 by the Jacobo brothers, singer Steven and producer Tony-Ray, the group issued its debut album, Youth Rebellion, that same year. The album was the first of many to be released on the group's own label, including a self-titled album in 2008 plus The Harvest from 2009. The Soundwaves EP followed in 2011, while 2014's Representing cracked the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and was endorsed by the likes of USA Today.

In March 2017, Tribal Seeds won the San Diego Music Award for Artist of the Year. A new single followed, entitled "Rude Girl" which debuted among iTunes Hot Singles in the Reggae genre.

Tribal Seeds have toured throughout the United States, and have also performed in Mexico, Aruba, Tahiti & Peru. They have shared the stage with artists such as Dave Matthews Band, Jack White, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction, Skrillex, MGMT, Cee Lo Green, Jason Mraz, Matisyahu, Sublime with Rome, Taking Back Sunday, O.A.R., Pretty Lights, Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Julian Marley, Stephen Marley, Gregory Isaacs, SOJA, Rebelution, Pepper, and many more.
