Ned LeDoux To Release His First-Ever Full Length Album
Sagebrush November 3

Sagebrush Includes Eight Original Songs And His Cover
of His Dad Chris LeDoux’s Iconic Signature
“This Cowboy’s Hat” Featuring Chase Rice

NASHVILLE, TN – Sept 6, 2017 – Ned LeDoux blazes his own trail forward on November 3 with the release of his first full-length album Sagebrush which carries on the traditions, music and cowboy way of life passed down to him by his Mom and Dad, Peggy and Chris LeDoux.

Produced by award-winning Mac McAnally, Sagebrush completes and follows on the heels of his debut EP Forever A Cowboy released last year. Ned wrote or co-wrote eight of the 12 songs included on Sagebrush, and each song leaves no doubt as to what the LeDoux name stands for in country music.

Sagebrush is a labor of love and a year in the making for Ned LeDoux. The Kaycee, Wyoming native wrote his first song with his songwriting and producer mentor Mac McAnally. After that Ned continued to write about his own life experiences, all the while maintaining his western style and staying true to the cowboy way of life he has always known, as in the song “Forever A Cowboy.” Ned continued to write of his time spent on the road reflected in “Brother Highway,” and about one of the most important things in his life in the love song  “By My Side,” about his love and devotion for his wife and growing family.

Ned’s mom, Peggy, gave him a shoebox full of what seemed to be song ideas his Dad had written down years ago. Ned prefers to call them his Dad’s “thoughts.” No one will ever know what his dad intended, but Ned took them and, with McAnally, turned them in to a variety of songs including his Dad as a co-writer. Four of those songs appear on Sagebrush including “Never Change,” “Cowboy Life,” “Forever A Cowboy” and “We Ain’t Got It All. ”

The entire collection of songs on Sagebrush mix together well and tell of the LeDoux history and his family values- from cowboys, ranching, the highway and the simplicity of living including the song "Better Part of Living" penned by McAnally and  “Another Horse to Ride,” written by Larry Bastian and Vince Pasion, which fits perfectly in the story of Sagebrush.

In addition to his eight original songs, Ned’s passion for continuing and reintroducing his Dad’s music and life to a new generation of fans was helped when LeDoux’s friend and BBR Music Group recording artist Chase Rice called, out of the blue, and asked Ned if he wouldn’t mind if he recorded his Dad’s iconic signature song “This Cowboy’s Hat” for his upcoming album Lambs & Lions to be released on November 17. Ned loved the idea, and after recording it together both agreed to include on each of their upcoming albums.

About Ned LeDoux:

It has been over 12 years since Chris LeDoux passed and Ned believes that people want to hear something new. His passion for music began at the age of five when he received his first drum kit. Ned went on to play in a number of different bands in Wyoming before landing a job as the drummer in his Dad Chris’s band Western Underground in 1998. Ned knew from that early age that he had “no plan b” but to play music. “Once I got the taste of the road, and being in front of a crowd and just the sound of it, it was...freedom,” he explained.

When his dad passed away in 2005, Ned continued to tour with his father’s band to keep the musical spirit of Chris LeDoux alive. This drove him to pick up the guitar and try his hand at some of his dad’s songs. It started with “Rodeo Man,” and before long Ned had a whole catalogue of his father’s early hits ready to play. When the other band members heard Ned’s voice, he found himself front and center singing at the shows. Stepping out from behind the drums stirred something inside of Ned that he hadn’t felt before, “It’s a different kind of rush, getting up with a guitar and standing behind a microphone...shoot I’m getting butterflies thinking about it right now.”

Carrying on with his family traditions and cowboy way of life is important to Ned as you can hear in the song “Forever A Cowboy.” Ned puts his own spin on his endless touring with “Brother Highway” about all the time he has spent on the road with various bands since his days in high school before landing full time as the drummer in his Dad’s band Western Underground. Ned says he doesn’t even need a road map anymore–that he and the highway are like brothers. He wants to write songs about what he knows, keep the themes simple and harken back to the sound of good ole country music but with an edge.

Ned has been burning up the highway to bring his new music to his loyal and dedicated fans sharing the stage with artists Toby Keith, Josh Turner, Chris Janson and Randy Houser. On tour, the show is a special blend of Ned’s original songs along with a few of his Dad’s.

Wander to Ogden This Winter and Experience What’s New

Ogden, Utah (September 6, 2017)- As the temperatures begin to drop and students make their way back to school, we are reminded that winter is only a few months away. Resorts have been working tirelessly all summer on building new lifts, maintaining their land, and getting ready for winter wanderers who will make their way to the slopes this winter. Here are the ins and outs of what’s new and how to make the most of your Ogden vacation.

Getting Here

We know that time is of the essence when traveling. If you’ve got limited time, fly into the Ogden-Hinkley Airport. This small airport, serviced by Allegiant Air, is located 5 minutes from downtown Ogden and currently offers two flights per week between Ogden and Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport in Arizona, and will be adding two flights each from both Los Angeles and Las Vegas this fall. Perfect for the weekend warrior, flights from Los Angeles will be scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays with prices starting at $35 each way, while flights from Las Vegas will be scheduled for Fridays and Mondays with prices starting at $45 each way.

If you don’t reside in Los Angeles, Las Vegas or the Phoenix/Mesa area, another viable option is to fly into the Salt Lake International Airport. Located about 35 minutes south of Ogden, the Salt Lake International Airport is a Delta hub that also has services from most major airlines. Once there, pick up your rental car, catch an uberSKI or hop on the FrontRunner and know that you’re less than an hour away from some incredible skiing.

Staying Here

Unlike most ski towns, our hotel prices are less on the weekend, making 3-day weekends a lot more affordable, giving you the flexibility to spend that extra cash on more important things. In Ogden, you will find name brand hotels, hip and urban VRBO’s, and quaint bed and breakfasts.

Newly renovated and celebrating its 126th year, The Bigelow Hotel, formally known as The Historic Ben Lomond Hotel, has returned to its roots. Located in the heart of downtown, this hotel will take you back in time with its grandiose lobby and 1920’s art-deco look and feel. Registered as a Utah Historic Site, the hotel’s features include historic photos of Ogden from the early 1900’s, maroon velvet couches, and a baby grand piano.

Mountain News

Powder Mountain is a one of a kind resort that is hanging its hat on skier experience, adventure and preserving the pow. With the addition of 2 new lifts last year, this throwback, mom-and-pop-style resort boasts the most skiable acres in North America with 8,464 acres. Powder Mountain is preserving the pow and the skier experience by being the first resort to cap day passes (1,500 total) and adult season passes (1,000 total). These skier caps make Powder Mountain not only the largest ski area in the United States but also the most spacious. Powder Mountain offers a unique opportunity for skiers and riders of all levels to experience their personal adventure within expansive boundaries.

Skiers heading to Snowbasin Resort this winter will discover some impressive on-mountain upgrades. This fall, the resort is installing a new detachable six-pack chairlift that will replace the current Wildcat Triple Chairlift for the 2017-2018 Winter Season. Built in 1946, the Wildcat Chairlift was the first chairlift at Snowbasin Resort and the center of the ski area for several years. In addition to the chair, Snowbasin Resort is increasing their snowmaking so that guests can utilize the terrain off Wildcat more frequently and earlier in the season.

Those looking to enjoy midweek skiing and snowboarding can do so for free at Snowbasin Resort when you fly Alaska Airlines into Salt Lake International Airport. From December to April, snow enthusiasts can “Fly Alaska, Ski Free” or simply take a scenic gondola ride at Snowbasin Resort for free within 24 hours of landing at the Salt Lake International Airport Tuesday through Thursday.

Nordic Valley is celebrating their 50th anniversary this winter. Built in 1968, Nordic Valley is known for their family friendly atmosphere and small-resort feel. Situated between Snowbasin Resort and Powder Mountain, Nordic Valley offers a variety of skill levels to accommodate each skier and snowboarder. Approximately, 20% of the mountain is appropriate for beginners, 50% for intermediate skiers and 20% for advanced skill levels. Nordic Valley also offers night skiing, with 100% of the mountain under the lights.

Après

Après-ski is a staple in this mid-size mountain town. This is a time to keep the party going with a beer in hand while listening to live music. While the resorts all have live music on the weekends, and bars that you can easily retreat to, here are some alternative ways you can enjoy the après life downtown.

Find your inner mountain man at Ogden’s newest attraction Social Axe. This is a place where you and your friends and family can get together and socialize after a day on the mountain while throwing axes and hatchets at wood targets. Think darts on steroids. Don’t be intimidated, there are coaches on site to get you started and it only takes a few throws to become an axe master.

New World Distillery, located in the Ogden Valley, is Utah’s newest craft distillery, producing naturalistic and gmo-free agave spirits, gin and vodka. They believe in being as sustainable as possible and have invested in a state-of-the-art still, cutting-edge fermenters, and a recirculating water chiller that recycles 100 percent of all cooling water. New World Distillery offers educational tours of their facility, tastings and sales of their spirits to those wanting to learn more about their cutting-edge technology and how the distilling process works.

Downtown Ogden is expanding with new restaurants, bars, and shops, some of which are in unexpected places. There’s no sign on the door to access Underground 225, a “speakeasy” that rests beneath Ogden’s Historic 25th Street. The correct door is easy to miss – like any speakeasy should be. Inside you will find an intimate bar with feather light fixtures, velvet and leather chairs, and granite tables. It’s an experience that shouldn’t be overly exposed, but what we will say is that the bartender makes a mean cocktail and the charcuterie is a must.

Local Favorites

An Ogden tradition since 1962, just at the snow is sticking to the ground and the resorts start to fully open, Ogden wraps up its year with the Holiday Electric Light Parade on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. At the conclusion of the parade, Santa and Mrs. Clause conduct the ceremonial lighting of Ogden’s Christmas Village, where more than 700,000 lights turn on and bedazzle the Municipal Park on Historic 25th Street. Dozens of intricately decorated cottages and lit trees light up the park and the village remains lit until the start of the new year.

New this winter, Farmers Market Ogden will be extending its summer and fall market by introducing a Winter Market. The Winter Market will take place every Saturday morning 9 am to noon from January 20th-Febrary 24th at Ogden’s Union Station. In addition to fresh winter produce, visitors will also have the opportunity to explore artisan good and preserves, enjoy live entertainment and family activities. NEW FOUND GLORY

Premieres New Music Video for

"The Sound of Two Voices"

Exclusively with Billboard

Fall Headline Tour Tickets On Sale Now at http://newfoundglory.shofetti.com/

September 6th, 2017 - Coral Springs, FL - New Found Glory is premiering their new music video for the island jam "The Sound of Two Voices" exclusively with Billboard today. On the track, Billboard shares that the "most un-New Found Glory-sounding song (from Makes Me Sick) was also its best...'The Sound of Two Voices' takes some steel drums and a ska-punk backbone, and rolls a fat one for anyone who thinks they've seen the last of New Found Glory's fresh ideas." Fans can check out the video, along with an exclusive interview from Guitarist Chad Gilbert on Billboard.com. Additionally, they can purchase a Limited Edition Collectible Bundle that includes the "Makes Me Sick" Yellow Vinyl LP, a "Triton" T-Shirt, "Makes Me Sick" Sunglasses and a Custom "Go Fish" Card Pack at http://smarturl.it/nfgmerch.

Makes Me Sick, the band's latest full length, which was released earlier this year, experiments with new sounds, techniques and styles for the band. "The Sound of Two Voices" leads the charge in these areas and shows that a band that has been around for 2 decades can still create music as fresh as their first singles. The album landed at the #1 spot on the Record Label Independent Current Albums chart. Additionally, the album secured numerous charting positions including the #2 spot on the Current Alternative Albums, #5 for Top Current Rock Albums and the #39 spot on the Billboard Top 200. On the track and video, Gilbert tells Billboard "When everyone started loving the track, we wanted to make a video. The 'Under the Sea' thing and the meaning behind the song -- we wanted to tie it all together. Those who have to struggle with addiction in their lives know the 'you only live once' mentality doesn't really work because you can only do that for so often before you're self-destructive."

New Found Glory is also excited to be hitting the road again this Fall for the last US leg of their 20 Years of Pop-Punk Tour. Kicking off in Columbia, SC on October 24th, this tour will give fans two full albums each night from the band's impressive catalog including Catalyst, Not Without A Fight, Self-Titled, Sticks and Stones, Resurrection and From The Screen To Your Stereo. The tour will travel to cities like Brooklyn, Cleveland, Salt Lake City, Portland, San Diego and New Orleans before wrapping up in Nashville, TN on December 3rd. All tickets are on-sale and available at http://newfoundglory.shofetti.com/.

The album has seen incredible praise with fans and press alike with Newsday saying, "All these pop-punk anthems champion taking chances and evolving." Additionally, Alternative Press praised that "Makes Me Sick combines the fun factor of albums like Sticks And Stones and Radiosurgery with some of the musical poise and maturity of Coming Home-and, in the process, creates enough slight sonic diversions to give longtime fans something new to enjoy" and Chorus.fm celebrated that "NFG continued to push their brand of pop-punk towards different genres and ideas, but Makes Me Sick is the record that finally puts it all together into one cohesive, consistent LP."

Fans can purchase the album on iTunes, Amazon, Best Buy or online, and stream it on Spotify. The album, produced by Aaron Sprinkle (MxPx, Anberlin, Acceptance) and mixed by Tom Lord-Alge (U2, The Rolling Stones, Blink 182), takes risks, introduces new sounds and proves that after 20 years, New Found Glory is better than ever.
