Hatch Congratulates Orbital ATK on Joining Air Force B-21 Bomber Team

Washington, D.C.—Senator Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, the senior Republican in the United States Senate, issued the following statement congratulating Orbital-ATK in Clearfield, Utah for being named a partner in the development of the Air Force’s B-21 Bomber:

“I was pleased to hear that the Orbital ATK Office in Clearfield, Utah will partner with Northrop Grumman in developing the Air Force B-21 Bomber,” Hatch said. “Development of this next-generation aircraft will not only bring jobs to Utah but also strengthen U.S. national security for decades to come. With their success in maintaining essential components of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the men and women who work at Orbital ATK in Clearfield have distinguished themselves as hardworking professionals. They made a special impression on the Secretary of the Air Force when she toured our state last year. I am confident that the high-level performance of the workforce in Clearfield was particularly influential in the Air Force’s decision to award this contract to Orbital ATK. I extend my congratulations to Orbital ATK, its employees, and the people of Utah.”
