Farr West – Landon Roylance, age 13, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.  He is the son of Darren and Michelle Roylance of Farr West.

Landen's Eagle project was cleaning up the weed-infested parking strip along 2700 North in Farr West near the new Wahlquist Junior High. Landon first approached the Farr West City council about doing this project he asked for help with the cost of the gravel that would be placed in the parking strip area. The City agreed to help with the cost of the gravel. The project began with 570 foot-long area that was dug out, weed-control fabric was laid down, and then gravel put in place.  It required over 176 man hours of labor and 35 tons of gravel!

A big Thank you to everyone who came and helped, including his scout troop, grandparents, relatives, friends, and neighbors. His scoutmasters are Bob Stoor and Zack Ridderhoff. Landen's favorite merit badge was rock climbing.
