Governor to sign Arches National Park Water Rights Agreement
What:
Gov. Gary R. Herbert will sign a water rights agreement reached by the Utah Department of Natural Resources (DNR), U.S. Department of Interior and Arches National Park. The agreement outlines Arches National Park’s water rights and identifies protections to basin water users, including businesses, ranchers, farmers and those recreating in red rock country.

Directions: Arches is five miles north of Moab on HWY 191; the La Sal Mountain Overlook is in the park and three miles from the visitor center. Parking is on the right side of the road (The signing will be moved to the visitor center for inclement weather).
