 The​ ​Salt​ ​Lake​ ​City​ ​run​ ​benefits​ ​Huntsman​ ​Hometown​ ​Heroes.​ ​Huntsman​ ​Hometown​ ​Heroes​ ​(HHH)​ ​is​ ​a​ ​group​ ​of dedicated​ ​individuals​ ​running,​ ​biking​ ​and​ ​hiking​ ​together​ ​towards​ ​a​ ​common​ ​philanthropic​ ​and​ ​physical​ ​goal.​ ​Open​ ​to anyone​ ​with​ ​a​ ​desire​ ​to​ ​help​ ​advance​ ​cancer​ ​research,​ ​the​ ​HHH​ ​program​ ​is​ ​designed​ ​to​ ​help​ ​participants​ ​reach​ ​their endurance​ ​goals​ ​while​ ​raising​ ​much-needed​ ​funds​ ​for​ ​cancer​ ​research​ ​at​ ​Huntsman​ ​Cancer​ ​Institute. 

 Founded​ ​by​ ​Utah​ ​native​ ​Travis​ ​Snyder​ ​(BYU​ ​'05),​ ​The​ ​Color​ ​Run​ ​has​ ​now​ ​hosted​ ​over​ ​300​ ​events​ ​in​ ​35+​ ​countries.​ ​Travis started​ ​producing​ ​fitness​ ​events​ ​exclusively​ ​in​ ​Utah​ ​for​ ​10​ ​years​ ​before​ ​he​ ​created​ ​The​ ​Color​ ​Run.​ ​The​ ​company headquarters​ ​is​ ​located​ ​in​ ​Salt​ ​Lake​ ​City.
