This book was written by Sheri Dew, who was a former counselor in the General Relief Society Presidency as well as a good friend of President Nelson’s.

She is a masterful writer who allows the reader to feel fully engaged upon every page. This book is broken up into 4 parts with several short chapters throughout and plenty of real-life pictures.
We first learn about Russell M. Nelson as a child who grew up alongside his sisters and brother, Marjory, Enid and Robert in a happy home life. They did not live in a gospel-centered home, but they did have loving parents, Marion Clavar Nelson and Floss Edna Anderson Nelson.
President Nelson thrived in school and grew to become a doctor; a heart surgeon. His skills and expertise later lend a hand in China as he made several long-time friends there as well as colleagues.
