What: Ceremonial signing of HB 150 “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Amendments”
Who: Gov. Gary R. Herbert, Rep. Val Peterson, UVU Vice President of University Relations Cameron Martin, students from Alpine School District, UVU administrators and students, local business leaders
When: Thurs., May 15, 2014, 3:00 p.m. – 3:40 p.m.
Where: UVU Library, Orem
*2nd Floor, near the “knowledge is power” art piece
Visuals: Gov. Herbert will sign a ceremonial copy of HB 150 with Rep. Val Peterson and interested parties. Gov. Herbert will meet with college and elementary school students from the UVU Robotics Program, a robotics program for elementary school children. Students will bring their robots to show Gov. Herbert.
