Whitespace is pleased to announce it will host its third AfterWork Wednesday Art Salon (#AWWSalon / #OgdenAWW) on Wed., August 20 from 6 - 8 p.m.
Short talks from New Visions of the West curator D. Scott Patria will be complemented by readings from Sian Griffiths and musical performance by Melody Pulsipher.
FEATURED AUTHOR:
Sian Griffiths, of "Borrowed Horses"
Ms. Griffiths is an accomplished author and professor at Weber State University. She will read from her recently-published novel, "Borrowed Horses"
SINGER/SONGWRITER:
Melody Pulsipher from Ogden, Utah. With a country feel, and a contemporary style, Melody performs all over the country and recently released her third solo album. Her music is available for purchase at her shows, and at melodyvocals.com
EXHIBITION:
New Visions of the West features nearly two dozen artists who revisit iconic themes, legendary stories and familiar landscapes, looking at them again through a contemporary lens: how we interact with and impact the expanse once thought to be the Last Frontier.
