Standard Examiner End of Summer Block Party
August 13, 2014 – The Standard Examiner will host its annual end of summer Block
Party on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Downtown Ogden Amphitheater. This event
is free to the public and will be held from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Created with families
in mind, Block Party will feature inflatables, costumed characters, face painting,
street performers, crafts, bands, food and vendors. Best of all, admission to Standard
Examiner Block Party is free.
On-stage entertainment will include local dance and talent groups, along with Uke
Rockers and a performance by The Improvables. Headlining that evening is the
band, “Outrageous,” a deep-rooted Northern Utah band who will be playing 60’s
and 70’s rock-and-roll at its best with Motown soul.
The Downtown Ogden Amphitheater is located at 343 East 25th Street, Ogden, Utah.
