Farr West – Farr West 7th Ward participated in an once-in-a-lifetime experience with the Farr West Poplar Stake on August 20, to be part of the cast of “Shine the Light Ogden” to celebrate the new Ogden Temple. They have practiced every Wednesday for the last month. This chosen activity for the youth of the Ogden Temple District, as directed by President Thomas S. Monson, is to express their gratitude and joy for the decision to have this beautifully renovated temple in our area. The youth showed their love for the religion, and have lasting inspiration to live on in their hearts. They have been touched and testimonies have increased because of their participation. There was a marching number to “Armies of Helaman” and “Called to Serve.” They all did a great job.
There have been a number of activities ongoing in the Farr West 7th Ward. One that seemed to be a lot of fun was August 13, when the girls went to the pool for a fun day.
