Hatch Lauds Passage of Crucial Bill to Aid Victims of Trafficking

Washington, D.C.—Senator Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, senior Republican in the United States Senate, issued the following statement on the passage of the Justice for Victims of Human Trafficking Act.

Hatch said, “I’m pleased that we have been able to find a way forward to help victims of human trafficking. There is no room for partisan games when innocent lives are on the line. This bipartisan compromise is just the latest in a series of major successes in the early days of this Republican-led Senate that prove we are prepared to restore the proper functioning of this institution and return to governing on behalf of the American people.”
