Media information session: Utah’s new primary process
What: The Lieutenant Governor’s Office will conduct an informal information session for members of the media regarding Utah’s new primary election processes. The presentation will include the following topics:
Differences between registered political parties (RPPs) and qualified political parties (QPPs)
Timelines of the new primary processes
Signature gathering requirements for candidates
How these changes affect voters
