RESOLUTION NO. _07-2015
A RESOLUTION CANCELLING THE WEBER FIRE DISTRICT
2015 ELECTION FOR BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, according to Utah Code Ann. งง 17B-1-306(4)(g) and 20A-1-206(3) and (4), Weber Fire District desires to cancel the November 3, 2015 Local District Election and certifies that the number of candidates does not exceed the number of open at-large local district offices for which the candidates have filed; and
WHEREAS, Weber Fire District has two at-large Board of Trustee seats open for election, with two (2) applicants, Weber Fire District has no other local district ballot propositions, and Weber Fire District did not receive any write-in candidates.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Weber Fire District, Board of Trustees that the November 3, 2015 Local District Election be hereby cancelled. The Weber Fire District Board of Trustees certifies that there are two candidates for the two at-large District Board of Trustee seats. The following candidates are considered to be elected to office, Val Heiner and Michael Hancock.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
