More than 400 Gather for 2015 Collective Impact in Education Summit
United Way, Governor’s Office, Salt Lake Chamber and Prosperity 2020 host half-day summit featuring keynote speaker and education innovator, Erin Gruwell
Salt Lake City--- United Way of Salt Lake (UWSL) is proud to partner with the Governor’s Office, Salt Lake Chamber and Prosperity 2020 for a half-day summit focused on Collective Impact in education. More than 400 attendees will convene at the Salt Palace Convention Center on Thursday, November 19. Notable presenters include: Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox, Superintendent of Public Instruction Brad Smith, Commissioner of Higher Education Dave Buhler, among others. Dr. Pam Perlich will present an overview of Utah’s changing demographics and the summit will conclude with keynote speaker, Erin Gruwell, education innovator and author of The Freedom Writer’s Diary.
