WHAT:          St. Pitty’s Day at the Humane Society of Utah. Save $17 off the adoption fee for a Pit Bull Terrier or Pit Bull mix dog or puppy. All eligible dogs will be clearly marked. Green punch and cookies will be available to the public. Media is invited to attend in the morning while the puppies are still available.

WHY:             To celebrate the end of Pit Bull Terrier breed discrimination in Utah and celebrate these misunderstood dogs, the Humane Society of Utah is inviting the public to adopt Pit Bull Terrier and Pit Bull mix dogs and puppies at a discounted adoption fee. All dogs come spayed/neutered with their first set of vaccinations and a microchip.

 

                        Heidi Myers, HSU employee, will officially adopt her own Pit Bull Terrier named Indiana on this day. Heidi has been fostering Indiana from a puppy for the past three months.
