:For the big news event around the area was the FIRE that spread across the mountian. It was started about  7:03pm on June 9th. It was caused by powerlines sparking. There had been a large amount to wind that had been blowing for a few hours with high gusts at times. This fire burned more than 200 acres and was undercontrol the next day. It was a very scarey time for many that lives on the Eastside. We whish to THANK ALL THOSE CAME and WORKED all night and into the next day to get this contanied quickly. 

US 89 Shoulders Project Update 14

Current Work

▪ Gas line work on the east side of the road continues, and is currently in front Willard Bay Gardens. This work involves digging trenches along the east side of the road to place the new gas line.
▪ Gas line tie-ins from the East side of the road to the West side are underway.
▪ Crews are continuing to place traffic signs on the west side of the road. Southbound lane restrictions will remain in place during this work.

Summer Football Schedule

 

Team camp for grades 10-12 is July 17-21. 

 

Team conditioning is Monday to Thursday at 7am (for juniors and seniors) and 8am  (for freshmen and sophomores)

 

Summer moratorium is July 3-7.  There will be no practice, lifting, conditioning, etc.. that week.  Go with family and enjoy!

 

Youth camps will be held at the high school

  -July 10-12 at 9:30am to 11am for the 5th – 8th graders

  -July 17-18 at 6:00pm to 7:30 for the K-4th graders
