Speaking of scholarships, the counseling center also provides a Scholarship Bulletin.  This Bulletin holds the application information for scholarships that are sent to Fremont High counselors.  This bulletin is updated every other week beginning in October.  Just come to the counseling center and ask for help with the scholarship bulletin.  We will show you where the information is located and how to access the applications.  You can also access the bulletin on our webpage:  http://fremontcounseling.weebly.com 

Just a reminder that all PTA Reflection contest submissions are due by 1pm this Wednesday, October 19th. 

Our PTA Book Fair will be open Monday and Tuesday, and close at 2pm on Wednesday.

There will be no school on Thursday and Friday for Fall Break and no Kindergarten on Wednesday.

Red Ribbon Week will be next week, October 24-28. 

Youth City Council Update: Youth City Council is working on the Halloween Trunk or Treat that will be held on Halloween night at 6pm @ on the loop behind City Hall.  Please line up your vehicles with trunks towards the curb between 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.  Trunk or Treating will begin PROMPTLY at 6pm.  Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated trunks, so GET FESTIVE!! Also the Youth Council is working on a Veteran's Day Celebration and the Christmas Light Ceremony. 

Parents, we are looking forward to receiving your child's entries for the upcoming Reflections Contest.  All work is due on October 19th....in just 10 days!  Remember, categories include; Visual Arts (2D and 3D), Literature, Musical Composition, Photography, Dance Choreography, and Film Production.  The theme is "What Is Your Story?"  Applications can be picked up in the front office or the library.  Please contact Amanda Dabb with any questions. Weber County Sheriff’s Office recently awarded several individuals at the Weber County Commission meeting held on September 6, 2016.  County Sheriff Terry Thompson read remarkable things about what each recipient did to merit the award.

Here are those notable individuals:

Lt. Jeff Pledger - Career Achievement Award for extended involvement as SWAT Team member and SWAT Team Commander in both Ogden Metro SWAT and Weber Metro SWAT
