Donors urgently needed to increase Red Cross blood supply

(Feb. 2, 2017) – The American Red Cross urgently needs blood donors to make an appointment to give this winter so that patients can continue to receive lifesaving treatments.

Michael Harper knows how critical it is to have a readily available blood supply. “I used over 300 units of blood when I was younger after an auto accident. Blood donations helped save my life,” he said. “Now, I would like to donate as much or more than I have received.”

Fremont High School Boys Varsity Basketball beat Mountain Crest High School 80-56

Saxton Morby hit six 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead 4 Silverwolves in double digits. Kaden Argyle scored 14 while Cade Hadley and Zach Taylor each added 11 points.

Notice of the mayor positon has been posted. This is a 4-year term, along with two City council seats, which are also 4-year terms.  If interested, please contact the City for further information.  The filing date is prior to June 1, 2017. An election will be held to determine outcome.

Wahlquist has been selected to administer the NAEP Assessment in February. If have heard of the ‘Nation’s Report Card’, those statistics come from NAEP. No student names are associated with an individual test. Individual student responses are not tracked in any way. Approximately 65 8th grade students will be selected to take either a math or reading assessment. Attached you will find a letter from NAEP explaining more. Fremont started the game on a 22-2 run with some hot shooting from Cade Hadley and Kaden Argyle. The Silverwolves never looked back and cruised to a solid win over Roy HS.
