The language immersion programs are up and running well within two local schools: Bates Elementary in North Ogden and Majestic Elementary in Harrisville. 

Immersion is, in other words, an approach to foreign language instruction in which the usual curricular activities are conducted in a foreign language.  This new language then becomes the medium of instruction.

Fremont High School Varsity Baseball falls to Cottonwood 3-2

In a pitchers duel, Cottonwood put a swing on 1 pitch, with 2 outs, and hit a 3 run home run. That would be enough as Fremont offense could only muster 2 runs in the game.

18th: Last Titan Time of the year

19th: Incentive Lagoon Day

22nd: Awards Assembly- 8 AM all 7th graders, 9 AM all 8th graders, 10 AM all 9th graders

25th: Closing assembly 7:50 AM to 9:10 AM in the gym

26th: Last Day of School, Early Out…No Breakfast or Lunch will be served

Justin Flinders threw a perfect game (No hits, no walks) in the win. Tyler Clark Started the offense and Colter Wilde and Cade Hadley finished it. Fremont plays Cottonwood in round 2 today.

This year Harrisville City will be holding elections for the following offices:

Mayor (4-year term), 2 City Council seats (4-year terms) and one City Council seat (2-year term).  In order to qualify as a candidate, interested individuals must file in person between June 1st and June 7th at the City Office, 363 W. Independence Blvd.

Jestin Schickel threw a gem and Fremont was able to squeak out 2 runs in a pitchers duel. The Wolves now direct their attention to their last week before the playoffs against their rival Weber.
