Adopt a rescued rabbit in February

Rabbits are the third most adopted pet at the Humane Society of Utah

To celebrate Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month in February, the Humane Society of Utah is offering a special adoption fee of $10 for one rabbit or $15 for two. All rabbits are neutered or spayed, and HSU can help educate adopters on the proper equipment, care and training needed for their new pet bunny.

Hey Orion parents!

Dear Weber School District Parents/Guardians,

Recently the City of Harrisville chose to elect Ruth Pearce as a new member of the City council. She will join her husband, Jeff Pearce, who has served a total of four years with two years left in his term.  This is a historic moment in Harrisville, as no husband and wife have ever served on the City council together.  On Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, Ruth was sworn into office and took her seat.   

H&R Block is putting the “fun” back in Refund Season. With 1,000s of winners of the H&R Block 1,000 Win $1,000 Daily Sweepstakes that will be celebrated all over the country. We are fortunate enough to already have a winner right here at our location in North Ogden (2568 N 400 E).  Brook Taggart is one of the lucky first winners and is receiving her $1,000 check this week.  Thirty-two thousand people will win $1,000 from H&R Block during the first month of tax season. Anyone who files their taxes in a participating H&R Block office by Feb.

 A student at our school has undertaken the task of collecting used jeans for homeless youth.  Below is her letter asking for donations.  If you would like to participate, we support her efforts.
