Gov. Herbert statement on the passing of Jim Hansen

SALT LAKE CITY (Nov. 14, 2018) – Gov. Gary R. Herbert has issued the following statement regarding the death of Jim Hansen, Utah's longest-serving member of the U.S. House of Representatives:

Small businesses across America had another big Small Business Saturday this year. 

According to the 2017 Small Business Saturday Consumer Insights Survey, produced by American Express and the National Federation of Independent Business, 108 million shoppers spent $12.9 billion this year.

Prices in the West region, as measured by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), rose 0.4 percent in October, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. The October increase was influenced by higher prices for gasoline, household furnishings and operations, and shelter.
