To All Junior Students and Parents of Juniors,   Beginning Monday, December 5, and spaced out over the next several weeks, we will provide a four-day ACT prep class during Bee Time for junior students.  Forty students each week will receive a referral slip in 2nd hour to Plus Time with Chanon Peterson.  Students, when you receive this referral slip go directly to the library.  If you are referred to another class and want to reschedule the prep class, talk to Mrs. Peterson.  The actual ACT test date for all Junior students will be on February 28.

Box Elder High School 1st Trimester final report cards will be distributed to students today, December 1st, during first hour.

Gov. Herbert statement on the death of Trooper Eric Ellsworth

SALT LAKE CITY (Nov. 23, 2016) – Gov. Gary R. Herbert issued the following statement following the death of Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Eric Ellsworth who was killed in the line of duty on Friday, Nov. 18:

A big thank you to Jennifer Johnson and all the volunteers who provided trunks, cooked scones, directed traffic and cleaned up, after Trunk-n-Treating.  Also, a big thank you to all those who donated candy and money to make the event possible.  Hundreds of people enjoyed a safe evening for the children.  Thousands of pieces of candy and prizes were passed out!

Parker Bywater was nominated for October Student of the Month by Nolin Crook for CTE.  He is the son of – Erica and Jake Torrey.   

My student of the month is Parker Bywater. I have taught Parker in both Engineering and Woodworking the past several years. I have seen Parker grow and progress from a sophomore that had a hard time getting to 1st period on time to now he stays after school to clean up and help others.
