Peter and the Starcatcher

Musical)
January 13 - February 13-30
Matinees January 21 & 28

Directed by Melanie Day

Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher upends the
century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes
to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter
Pan). A wildly theatrical adaptation of Dave Barry
and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling novels, the play
was conceived for the stage by directors, Roger
Reese and Alex Timbers, and written by Rick Elice,
with music by Wayne Barker. From marauding
pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades
and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher
playfully explores the depths of greed and
despair...and the bonds of friendship, duty and love.

Okalhoma

(Musical)
April 21 - May 13
Matinees April 29 & May 6

Directed by Marilyn Whipple

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration
remains, in many ways, their most innovative,
having set the standards and the rules of musical
theatre still being followed today. Set in a Western
Indian territory just after the turn of the century, the
high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and
cowboys provides the colorful background against
which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a
winsome farm girl, play out their love story. With
these two headstrong romantics holding the reins,
love’s journey is as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road.
