Rubbing alcohol is traditionally used as a disinfectant, but it has many benefits that you may never have considered. Here are 11 health benefits of rubbing alcohol:

Government Shut Down Information

Governor’s office statement on potential federal government shutdown

 

SALT LAKE CITY (Jan. 19, 2018) – Gov. Gary R. Herbert’s Deputy Chief of Staff Paul Edwards has issued the following statement in regard to a potential federal government shutdown:  

 

We urge members of the United States Senate to resolve their differences and keep the federal government functioning. We also urge them to fund the Children’s Health Insurance Program, on which nearly 20,000 Utah children depend.

 

Russell M. Nelson Becomes 17th Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

On Sunday, January 14, 2018, President Russell M. Nelson, age 93, was sustained and set apart in the Salt Lake Temple as the 17th prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  The new leader of more than 16 million members was full of smiles as he eagerly greeted journalists and members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in a live broadcast Tuesday.

President Dallin H. Oaks, age 85, has been called as 1st counselor with 84-year-old President Henry B. Eyring as 2nd counselor in the First Presidency.  This is the Church’s highest governing body.
