DOMINION ENERGY GAS LINE The gas line is now from the north end of Willard to 300 North. We urge residents to be prepared for delays. Do not turn in between the barrels as you may end up in the trench. NO LEFT TURN means NO left turn. Also be extremely careful when making U-turns on Highway 89.  Be alert and prepared to stop especially around the fruit and vegetable stands. As always slooow down and keep the worker’s safe.

 Burn Permits – The Fall open burn period is from September 15 – October 30.  Extremely dry conditions still exist, even with the rain we had! NO BURN PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED UNLESS THE CLEARING INDEX IS ABOVE 500 for Airshed 4. Links to check the index are available at www.willardcity.com  or by calling the Box Elder County Fire Marshal at 435-734-3345. The Division of Air Quality regulates this, not the County Fire Marshal.  If the Burn Index is not above 500 on the day you want to burn do not call for a burn permit.
