Utah House District 29 Incumbent Lee Perry and Democrat contender Alan Yorgason vie for your vote on November 4th for the District 29 House Seat. Sentinel News had the opportunity to get statements from both candidates on what they would like voters to know.

            Lee Perry stated that he would like to ask for your continued support and assured that he will continue to listen to your concerns. He stated he tries to make himself available to the constituents as much as possible. As for issues, if you go to his website www.leeperryutah.com, you can read more about how we need reduced class sizes and to reward good teachers. He also addresses concerns about air and water, the need to lower gas prices and to strengthen the economy.  He encourages voter to ask questions and voice their concerns.

            Alan Yorgason asks that the voters consider casting their ballot for him. He said some of his major concerns are:  Utah’s air pollution quality and how it affects Utah’s economy with tourism. Another of his major concerns is health care and making it affordable to all. If you visit his Facebook page, you will find he posts frequently about this topic and believes Obamacare or the Affordable Health Care Act to be a step in the right direction.
