He feels that the controversy over the sewer issues needs to be solved; and that the City needs clear guidelines and stick to them. He feels both Willard and Perry need this to be worked out so both can move forward with the clear guidelines.

Ken McCollum from Farr West considers himself to be conservative as it relates to municipal government activities, programs and spending.  He would like to see moderate growth for Farr West with the ability to live within a balanced, conservative budget.  He would like to promote synergy between the mayor and the other council members, and to have transparency in all of the City’s dealings while protecting the rights of Farr West’s citizens.

Tony Pitman from Pleasant View hopes to promote a continuance of a clean, open, rural city atmosphere in the City, with large lot sizes and as little traffic as possible.  He wants to promote that good roads be kept repaired and improved.  He wants to bring in high quality businesses that take an interest in the Pleasant View community.  He also would like to see more people coming to council meetings and being involved with Pleasant View government.

He also stated that road maintenance and repairs required a higher priority to keep up with wear and deterioration.

If elected, he wants to finish improving the City’s parks and pathways that are not yet completed.
