Dear Intermountain Healthcare (IHC), when you finish outsourcing our Utah jobs and after you have pounded your employees down to $12 an hour, and left them with sketchy benefits WHO – besides hugely bonused executives – will be able to afford your services?
Utah’s largest private employer is shifting employees from their non-profit company over to a for profit company. IHC says they will save $70 million dollars on just 2300 employees. That's 14K per worker. Someone show me the model where these corporate reorgs ever help employees? And listen to the deafening silence about the precedent this aggressive HR action is setting for other major Utah employers. Too many community leaders who understand what's happening are afraid to speak the truth! Employees speak up--everyone else support IHC’s fabulous people!
