Perry City’s March Update
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is going to be working to add a lane to the inside lane of I-15 in each direction between SR134 in Farr West to US-91 in Brigham City. Crews will be working north and southbound along I-15, with the following activities projected to take place along the construction corridor: I-15: Ongoing Corridor Activities
• Day and nighttime activities are expected in all areas
• Speed limit is 65 MPH along the corridor
• Clear/grub, saw cut and pavement grinding
• Barrier, fencing and sign relocations
• Intermittent, nighttime, single lane configuration
• Intermittent bridge and utility work continues along the corridor
I-15: Perry Rest Area -Utility work is scheduled to continue for the northbound Perry Rest Area through April 2016.
• The Rest Area will remain open
• Limited parking will be available
I-15: Bridge Work Continues- Bridge work is scheduled to continue along the construction corridor.
• Work is scheduled with day and nighttime activities
• Pile driving will take place over the next few weeks
• All I-15 bridges will remain open
• A closure to traffic under the bridge is scheduled during daytime hours
• All bridge traffic open during nighttime hours
Area motorists and residents may experience an increase in noise, light, dust, vibration, construction personnel and vehicles in the area. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather, equipment or material delays. Safety Reminder - For your safety and the safety of those working in the area, please exercise caution, stay alert and be prepared for changing lane configurations throughout the construction corridor.
