Willard Hometown News - October

Willard Cemetery has announced that NO animals will be allowed at the Cemetery. It is with great sadness this has had to happen. This has been an area for people to walk with their animals away from the busy highway. They have tried for years to get the few, who have ruined it for the many, to leash and pick up after their dogs. To the most that complied, thank you! Those who didn't were belligerent; one "gentleman" even gave the finger to a lady walker who was bothered by his dog. This is unacceptable and the Willard Cemetery Board has now posted signs declaring, “No Animals Allowed.”

Three Mile Creek Elementary PTA is bringing back its Halloween Carnival this year!!  It will be on Friday October 28th from 5:30pm to 8pm at Three Mile Creek Elementary!! Open Letter from Dale S Hamson:

“The last 54 months has been an amazing time for me at the Willard Post Office. I have met many extremely nice people, and have become friends with a number of you. I have also rekindled some friendships from my days growing up in Brigham City and attending Box Elder High School. It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from the Willard Post Office effective 30 Sept 2016.

I will miss the daily interaction with you all, but it’s the youngest members of the community whom I’ll probably miss the most. The heart-warming feeling I get when they look at me with wonderment. “Mom is he? Is he? You know WHO.

For those of you who have been following my beard and hair growth. You can continue to check on it at J&D’s Family Restaurant in Brigham City.

Thank you all for making me feel like family.’

THANK YOU, Dale, for your service; you will be missed.

September 15 - October 30 Fall Burn Permits are available now.  PLEASE call for yours.
