2014 TOUR DE CURE!!!
Hi everyone I'm back again! On 14 JUNE 2014 I will be riding in the TOUR DE CURE for the AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION (ADA) in BRIGHAM CITY UTAH. I will be attempting the 100-MILE ROUTE for the 3rd time (I’m 2 for 2) and it will take around 7 hours (I HOPE) to accomplish this distance (not to shabby for a 260 pound skinny guy). Your support and donations I received in prior years were greater than I ever expected so I hope that continues once again this year.
YOUR GENEROSITY WAS AND WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
I will be the co-captain for the AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION cycling team again in Utah, TEAM RED. I choose to ride on TEAM RED and in the TOUR DE CURE because I am a TYPE II DIABETIC, plus my favorite exercise as I grow older is riding my bicycle, Stress relief, LOL. Lastly but not least riding 100 miles was one of my Bucket List item and you have a thousand other riders & volunteers to help keep you motivated along the way. Crazy me I enjoyed it so much the 1st few times I'd like to do it again " Now back to a more serious note; TEAM RED the ADA and I are looking forward to your support, EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!!!
EVERY PEDAL I PEDAL, EACH MILE I RIDE AND EVERY DOLLAR I RAISE WILL BE USED IN THE FIGHT TO PREVENT & EDUCATE people about diabetes. Thank you for taking your time to read my story and possibly making a generous contribution to this cause that is so important to me!
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT MY RIDE OR THE TOUR DE CURE.
