Looking for a cool way to spend a Saturday? You should go check out the Spiral Jetty at the Great Salt Lake. This environmental art piece is awe inspiring! Created in 1970 by artist Robert Smithson, the Spiral Jetty is formed from black basalt rocks, forming a 1500 foot long by 15 feet wide coil! The Spiral Jetty is located at Rozel Point peninsula on the northeastern shore of the Great Salt Lake. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
