Exhibit: Weber County School District Seconday Student Competition
The Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden will exhibit the art work of the Weber County School District Secondary Students during April. The center's galleries will be participating in the Art Stroll on Friday April 4th from 5 to 9 p.m. The Weber School District Foundation will be announcing awards on Tuesday, April 8th from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit continues through April 26, 2014. Come find out why those pretty flowers you see on the hillside aren’t so pretty after all. Meet the poster child of Utah’s invasive species and learn all about how it got here in the first place.
Join an Ogden Nature Center teacher/naturalist and learn about the history and biology of Utah’s tops invaders and take part in their removal! Come ready to get your hands dirty as we dig invasive species and restore our native habitats. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Please meet in the Visitor Center. No RSVP—just show up and take advantage of these great, free workshops and no admission that afternoon!
