Petals, Pots & Pavers craft workshop
Jean Hampton will offer a Petals, Pots and Pavers workshop at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson avenue, Ogden on Saturday morning, May 3, 2014 from 9 to 11 a.m. for anyone ages 5 through adult. Supplies provided for craft projects. Wear older clothes or an apron. Craft created will make great Mother's Day gifts. Tuition: $18. Birdhouse Exhibit at Ogden Nature Center
The Ogden Nature Center presents FOR THE BIRDS...an outdoor exhibit of handcrafted and whimsical birdhouses and birdfeeders. The Exhibit runs April 12 through August 30, 2014 and is open 9-5 Monday through Friday and 9-4 on Saturdays. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children. Members are FREE.

Call them pill bugs, potato bugs or roly polies, just about everyone has seen these little creatures digging in the soil and curling into a ball. Come meet "Pearl the Pillbug," a puppet who knows oodles about these cunning crustaceans. Make a pill bug craft and go on a hunt for them around the nature center.
