Learn how to read nature and prepare yourself for survival using basic first aid, map reading, fire starting, leadership, tracking and shelter-building skills learned along the way. Conquer the compass and GPS, and put your skills to the test in an all-out, end-of-camp treasure hunt. Who will win in this wild adventure?
Ages 11-14
Week long summer day camp adventure with 1 overnight program.
Mon-Wed 8:30-3:30pm
Overnight campout starts at 6pm Thursday the 12th and ends at 9am Friday morning.
Dinner and breakfast are provided. After-hours care is available until 5pm Mon-Wed. Tents and sleeping bags are available for students who do not own their own. Tents are shared with same gender campers only.

Mad Science of Greater Salt Lake City will offer a children's (ages 5 to 11 years old) summer science camp: Secret Agent Lab at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden on Monday through Friday, June 9th through 13th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students should bring a sack lunch, water, and sun screen. Paper Quilling with Jean Hampton
Instructor, Jean Hampton will teach the art of paper quilling at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden on Monday, June 9th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Quilling is an 18th Century art of creating designs from tightly coiled strips of paper. Students are encouraged to purchase their own quilling tool at a craft store or on-line. Other supplies are provided. This workshop is for those age 9 through adult. Tuition: $15.
