The Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden will exhibit art by Meri DeCaria and Cassandra Barney, Pottery: Matt Conlon in the Main Gallery and feature the paintings of Debra Marin in the Carriage House Sales Gallery. An artist reception will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 from 5 to 9 p.m. in association with Ogden's Art Stroll. Work will remain on exhibit through September 27, 2014.

Wildwoods Bash Fundraiser at Ogden Nature Center

 

The Ogden Nature Center presents the 29th annual Wildwoods BASH at our nature preserve located at 966 W 12th Street in Ogden from 

5-8:30 p.m.

 

This al fresco event includes a gourmet dinner, live music and an auction of nature and outdoor inspired items.

 

All proceeds support Ogden Nature Center’s mission to unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship of the environment.

Utah Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum First Friday Art Stroll

 

Max R. Godfrey of Riverside, Utah, a rawhide braider and cowboy poet, will be demonstrating rawhide braiding at the museum on September 5. He has been braiding since 5 years of age, and has taught others the skill in his spare time, conducting braiding glasses for over ten years. He is a long time supporter of events that promote the preservation of western fork art traditions.

Ogden's First Friday Art Stroll is held the first Friday of the month from 6-9 PM, Ogden’s First Friday Art Stroll is abuzz year ‘round with exciting exhibit openings, artist receptions and live music of all genres in venues and in the streets. As the art stroll becomes the virtual front porch of Ogden, those that venture here are treated to great art, an atmosphere of camaraderie and inclusion and amazing night life; small town feel, big city offerings.
