Governor’s Standards Review Panel to meet for first time
What: The Governor’s Standards Review Panel, co-chaired by Dr. Richard Kendell and Pres. Matthew Holland, will begin the review process of the Utah Core Standards in mathematics and English language arts, as announced in a press conference on July 17, 2014. The group will organize technical work groups, which will review and analyze the standards. Gov. Herbert will provide opening remarks.
