Christmas Bird Count for Kids

Come participate in our 2014 Christmas Bird Count for Kids! This free program is open to children ages 8 and up, and gives them the tools they need to discover amazing birds around them and participate in the Audubon Society's Christmas Bird Count, a Christmas tradition for over 100 years. During the program, Aviary staff will guide participants in learning basics of binoculars use, practicing birding skills in Liberty Park, tallying results over hot cocoa, and celebrating our findings with a special encounter with our trained Bird Show stars!

UPDATE: This year’s Christmas Bird Count for Kids is full! We are looking forward to a great bird count with everyone and would love some help promoting this event to raise awareness for the worldwide Christmas Bird Count in which everyone can participate, even in their own backyard!
