Willard - Every three years, the youth age 14 and older in the Willard Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints attend one of three types of youth conference for fun and faith building. Kent Wilson, 2nd Counselor in the Willard Stake Presidency says 2014 is the “standard stake youth conference.” Approximately 260 youth and their leaders go to a different place every 3 years. Next year will be “the pioneer trek”, and the year after that will by individual wards.
In 2014, the youth went to North Fork for some spiritual and fun activities. Brother Wilson says kids have fun, and have opportunities to strengthen testimonies and to interact with other youth in the Stake. He agrees that it’s well worth the time for the youth to go. He says: “It’s a great investment!”
