Willard 5th Ward Primary put on the cutest Nativity at the Ward Breakfast on December 13th. They had the nursery children dressed as animals, angels, or shepherds. From Primary, Vanessa Forsgren played Mary, Ainge Gillman was Joseph, and Konnor Douglass, Cedric Monson, and Kole Caldwell were Innkeepers. Pence Parker, Treven Nielsen, Christian Sorensen were Wisemen and Ellie Lund was an angel. All the other boys played shepherds and the girls angels.
Willard 6th Ward had their youth making ginger bread houses. They had a ball making and decorating the houses. The Ward was a buzz from a very spiritual Christmas activity held on December 9th. They shared their Christmas traditions that are centered on Christ. There was also a display of Nativities to enjoy.
Maguire Canyon Ward sponsored “The Giving Tree,” Each ornament represented a toy or article of clothing needed for a child living in the ward in order for them to have gifts for Christmas. Linda Zito was in charge of this undertaking, making sure gifts were purchased and wrapped with the ornament attached to the package. The packages were delivered to the children in time for Christmas.
