An open letter from Mayor Cronin

“Perry City wants to again express their thanks to the outgoing members of the City Council: Todd Christensen, Peter Gerlach, and Jana Nelson. They devoted many hours of service over the past four years and we wish them success in their future endeavors.

Perry City wants to welcome James Taylor, Nathan Tueller, and Toby Wright as the newest Perry City Council members. A brief introduction of the new City Council members: James Taylor has lived in Perry 29 years and says it has been the perfect place to raise his 6 children with his wife Annette. They also have 9 grandchildren that he loves to wrestle with. Council Member Taylor is a family medicine doctor by profession and enjoys biking and listening to college lectures on tape in his free time.

Nathan Tueller moved to Perry 20 years ago with his wife Tambi and shortly thereafter started his business Greenleaf Landscaping, which he still owns and operates. Council Member Tueller enjoys playing a variety of different sports and hanging out with this wife and 5 children.

Toby Wright and his wife LaNeisha moved to Perry 8 years ago thinking they would buy a home here as a short term investment, but soon fell in love with the great people who live in Perry and have decided to stay and call Perry home. When Toby is not working in radiology at the hospital, he runs his custom metal door wrap business called Mr. Bender. In his free time, Council Member Wright likes to snow ski, snowmobile, and golf.

These three new council members, Council Member Esther Montgomery, Council Member Brady Lewis, and I, along with the City staff are excited to work together to continue to make Perry the Perfect Place to Call Home!

Mayor Karen Cronin”
