WEST WEBER / TAYLOR CEMETERY DISTRICT

Notice is hereby given that applications are being accepted by the Weber County Commission to fill (1) vacant position on the West Weber / Taylor Cemetery District Board. Applicants shall be registered voters within the West Weber / Taylor Cemetery District boundaries.

Applications can be requested by contacting the Weber County Commission Office, 2380 Washington Blvd., Suite 360, Ogden, UT 84401, (801)399-8405. Applications will be accepted at the Weber County Commission Office through March 25, 2016. Lee, Grassley, Law Enforcement Officials to Hold Forum on Criminal Justice Reform

WASHINGTON—On Tuesday, February 9 at 4:00 p.m. EST, Senators Mike Lee (R-UT) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) will join members of law enforcement to discuss their perspectives on the Sentencing Reform and Corrections Act of 2015. The briefing follows a pair of letters Republican leaders circulated to colleagues. In the letters, more than 130 law enforcement leaders urged Congress to pass the measure because federal sentencing reform will reduce both crime and unnecessary incarceration.
