Sunday, February 25: Tubing  at Soldier Hollow. NEW this season, Soldier Hollow has upgraded their lift to a magic carpet lift system meaning faster lifts and shorter lines. Soldier Hollow boasts the longest tubing lanes in Utah. With 1,200-foot sliding lanes and the new lift, tubing is the perfect way to take advantage of Utah's beautiful winters. Tubing is available in 2-hour sessions.

Sunday, February 25: Snowshoe Tour of the Preserve at Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter. Join us for a nature walk on the Preserve! During this tour, you will learn about the history of the Preserve as well as what kinds of plants and animals you will find during the winter. Additionally, you will have time to search for and identify animal tracks and other signs of animal life on the Preserve. This outing is appropriate for all ages and will take place on generally flat terrain.

Sunday, February 25: Cinderella at Capitol Theatre. Synopsis: Sir Frederick Ashton's Cinderella is considered the worlds greatest version of this timeless fairy tale. In 2013, Sklute brought it to Utah, making Ballet West the second company in America allowed to perform this sparkling classic, which is filled with romance and comedy. With a visit from her fairy godmother, Cinderella is whisked off to the royal ball for a magical night with the handsome prince. Complete with a profound musical score by Sergei Prokofiev, this classic story is filled with spellbinding dance and hilarious hijinks for the entire family.

Based on the 1989 Disney film (and the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen), this musical features songs, old and new, that will submerge fans, young and old, into an exciting adventure under the sea.

Saturday, February 24: 90-Second Newbery Film Festival Screening at The Main Library (Salt Lake City Public Library System). Come discover the next Steven Spielberg at this celebration of young filmmakers! Kids all over the country from kindergarten through grade 12 were invited to create short film adaptations of Newberry Medal-winning books. Watch these classics reimagined with hilarious twists by national and local winners at this film festival hosted by award-winning authors for young readers. Walk-ins are welcome, or register for free to guarantee a seat!
