United Citizen Task Force

Are you frustrated with how big government is running amuck with no end in sight?   Do you want to get up off your keester and make a difference by being part of an organization, but can’t find one that supports your values?  Well, Byron and Dakota Tuck from Howell, Utah, know and understand your pain and invite you to join them and other activists that stand for patriotism and Constitutional values.

Box Elder Vanguard

It seems that education has become a can of worms and a sore spot for many in society today.  Common core is being questioned at every turn and many feel public education has become a state-run religion.  Every time you turn on the news you hear of parents who are frustrated with the education system because 6-year-old Johnny was sent home for chewing his sandwich into the shape of a gun and a 5-year-old girl was sexually harassed by a 6-year-old boy because he kissed her on the cheek.

Initiative is Drawing-out Opposition

Several Leaders in Utah are opposed to the “Count my Vote” initiative which would essentially do away with Utah’s long-standing caucus system.

Dear Editor

In God We Trust

The motto IN GOD WE TRUST was placed on United States coins largely because of the increased religious sentiment existing during the dark days of the Civil War.  At that time, Secretary of the Treasury Salmon P. Chase, received many appeals from “The People” from throughout the country, requesting that the United States recognize Deity on United States coins. It appears from Treasury Department records, that the first such appeal was a letter dated November 13, 1861.
